Leanne Lenee shared some cheeky "advice" for women whose partners are involved in this year's NFL Draft Week after her husband, Travis Hunter, was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars as the second overall pick in 2025
Though she framed her April 22 post on TikTok as genuine, her words of wisdom actually just pointed out some of the contradictions between all that's expected of women during the process
For example, she told women to smile so they don't seem uninterested, but also warned them not to seem too happy and only interested in the money their husband, fiancé or boyfriend might make as an NFL player
Leanne Lenee shared some pointed words of wisdom for the partners of future pro football players ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.
On Wednesday, April 22, Jacksonville Jaguars star Travis Hunter's wife posted a TikTok dispensing some "advice" for women as Draft Week kicked up. She began by saying she's seen other players' wives and girlfriends — or WAGs, as they're colloquially called — do the same, though Lenee's words more clearly outlined ironies in how women are expected to behave during the process.
"Here's my advice: don't get in the camera, because if you get in the camera too much, you are an attention whore and you want this to revolve around you," Lenee said. "But also don't avoid the cameras and sit down and try to dodge the cameras, because then you don't care about your boyfriend or fiancé or husband, and supposedly other people are gonna tell you, sit up, when really you're just trying to hide from cameras."

She went on to suggest women don't "stand up too fast, because then you're trying to make it about you." However, she once again warned WAGs to avoid the other side of the same coin: "Don't stand up too slow, because then you're bored and you don't wanna be there," said Lenee.
"Don't hug him before his mom hugs him, because then that's wrong and his mother should hug him first," she continued. "But also hug him before his mom, because then it's gonna look like someone's trying to tell you to go hug him, when really you're just trying to let their mom hug them first."
As for showing emotions, she sarcastically said crying implies that the woman is "dramatic," but holding back tears will also send a message that "you don't care about him and you're just there for money." Smiling will also give viewers the idea that a partner is only interested in the money, Lenee said, adding, "But also don't forget to smile, because if you're not smiling, then you're miserable and you actually hate him, and you're just with him for money."

She also provided a tongue-in-cheek pointer on dress codes, noting that women might want to avoid high heels due to foot pain, but discomfort isn't the primary consequence to worry about.
"When your feet start to hurt and your man carries you, then you're trying to make it about you. But also, if you don't wear heels, then you're classless," said Lenee.

"Cheer for your man, because that's important. And if you don't, then you'll get hated. But also, don't cheer too much, because if you do, you're doing too much and you'll be hated," she concluded. "That's all. So actually, just don't go."
Hunter, who was selected by the Jaguars as the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, showed some support for his wife, hitting back at unwarranted judgment. "U got this one😂," he commented on her TikTok.
