Heads up, armchair detectives: There's no new *Masked Singer* episode on tonight.

The show is on a planned hiatus for the week. Though Fox had initially planned to re-air a prior episode from season 14 of the disguised celebrity singing show, the network will now re-air *The Real Full Monty*, a two-hour cancer awareness TV special, on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The special, which will feature an onscreen QR code that will encourage audiences to donate to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, is re-running in honor of *Dawson's Creek* and *Masked Singer* season 13 contestant James Van Der Beek, who died of colon cancer Feb. 11, at 48.

Originally aired in December 2024, *The Real Full Monty* sees six male celebrities perform striptease routines to raise awareness for prostate, testicular, and colorectal cancer testing and research. Van Der Beek filmed the special alongside Anthony Anderson (*Black-ish*), Taye Diggs (*All American*), Tyler Posey (*Teen Wolf*), Bruno Tonioli (*Dancing With the Stars*), and Kansas City Chiefs player Chris Jones.

Throughout the presentation, Anderson leads Diggs, Jones, Posey, Tonioli, and Van Der Beek as they train and rehearse for the most revealing performance of their careers. The journey culminates in a bold, high-energy striptease performed before a live audience, choreographed by Emmy winner Mandy Moore (of *So You Think You Can Dance*, *La La Land*, and Taylor Swift's Eras Tour fame).

Per a news release from Fox, "In the lead-up to the final performance, the men push their limits, test their modesty and forge a powerful brotherhood through a series of rehearsals and deeply personal experiences, both private and public, designed to build confidence and break down stigma. Along the way, each celebrity shares how cancer has personally impacted his life, underscoring the special’s mission to encourage men to get checked and prioritize their health."

*The Real Full Monty* is based on the international unscripted format of the same name, first broadcast on the U.K.’s ITV in 2017. Those specials were inspired in turn by the 1997 comedy film *The Full Monty*, which follows a group of unemployed men (played by Robert Carlyle, Tom Wilkinson, and Mark Addy) as they perform Chippendales–inspired routines to raise money so that one of the men can visit his son.

Meanwhile, *Masked Singer* fans can rest easy: The show will be back to airing in its typical Wednesday time slot next week, Feb. 25. At that time, viewers will be tasked with channeling the ultimate girl power for Spice Girls Night.

Tune in to see the panelists cosplay as their favorite Spice Girl and find out who goes home next when that episode airs from 8 to 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.**
