Justin Baldoni claims Blake Lively referred to her home office as "Buckingham Palace" when she requested meetings be held there

"She used to call it Buckingham Palace, as she said, because so many celebrities walked through there," Baldoni said in his October deposition

Justin Baldoni claims Blake Lively called her home office "Buckingham Palace" when she requested their It Ends With Us meetings be held there.

Baldoni, 41, sat for his deposition on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, in Los Angeles as part of his ongoing legal battle with Lively, 38.

A transcript of the deposition, exhibited in a court filing that was obtained by PEOPLE, shows one point when Baldoni revealed Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds' code name for their at-home office in New York City.

"She used to call it Buckingham Palace, as she said, because so many celebrities walked through there," Baldoni said. "I think that was her office in her penthouse apartment, which was the place that Ms. Lively requested all of our meetings be."

In December 2024, Lively sued her It Ends With Us costar-director Baldoni and others at Wayfarer Studios, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation, which he denies. Baldoni's countersuit, accusing Lively and Reynolds, 49, of defamation and extortion, has since been dismissed by a judge.

The case was previously set to go to trial in March but has been postponed until May 2026. Baldoni attended Lively's July deposition in person, and Reynolds was not deposed in the case.

Lively and Reynolds' Manhattan apartment has come up several times in the highly publicized legal battle, including as the setting of a meeting during which Baldoni claims Reynolds "berated" him for allegedly "fat-shaming" Lively during the making of It Ends With Us.

The penthouse was also the location of another instance in which Baldoni confirmed he told a pregnant Lively inside their home that he was circumcised during a discussion about her first baby son who was on the way. (She and Reynolds share four kids; Baldoni has a son and daughter with wife Emily.)

Her attorney Michael J. Gottlieb asked Baldoni in his deposition, per the transcript, “Did you at any point share with Ms. Lively whether you were circumcised?” and Baldoni replied, “Yes.”

When asked whether Lively directly asked him that question, Baldoni said, “Directly, no.” Gottlieb later pressed for details about who was present “at the moment when you relayed to Ms. Lively that you were circumcised?”

Baldoni replied, "There were people going all around. Mr. Reynolds was in and out of the conversation. She had, I think, two nannies. I felt like there was a housekeeper there. Her assistant was walking around. I think she had two assistants there. Her and I were sitting on the couch, but there were people all around."
